Fellows Grant Program applications that propose the initiation of a new study meeting the definition of a clinical trial (see NIH definition) are NOT eligible for the WVCTSI Fellows grant program. The Fellows Grant Program will provide six-month awards up to $10,000 to a Mentor-Fellow team. Fellows should be in multi-year fellowship programs. Since applicants for PPP awards must be full time faculty members, the Mentor will serve as the PI and the Fellow will serve as Co-PI. Fellows are only eligible to apply for this award as Year 2 of the WVCTSI Fellows Research Academy (FRA), which immediately follows Year 1 of the FRA Program. Fellows who have not participated and completed Year 1 of the FRA Program are not eligible for this award.
